Color Theory

Define hue: is the term for the pure spectrum colors commonly referred to by the "color names" rainbow.

Define value:s defined as the relative lightness or darkness of a color. It is an important tool for the designer/artist, in the way that it defines form and creates spatial illusions.

1. Define saturation: It is similar to contrast , however instead of increasing the separation between shadows and highlights , we increase between color. 
2. How many colors are available on our computers? 
3. Typically , true color is defined to mean at least  265 shades of red, green, and blue, for a total of at least 16,000,000 color variations. The human eye can discriminate up to ten million colors.
4. Define secondary color: 
5.  a color resulting from the mixing of two primary colors.

Define tertiary color 

          The resulting color formed when an equal amount of a primary and a secondary color are mixed

1. What are the primary colors in Photoshop? 
2. Photoshop bases its color modes on the color models that are useful for images used in publishing. You can choose from RGB (Red, Green,Blue), CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black), Lab Color (based on CIE L* a* b*), and Grayscale.
3. What are the secondary colors in Photoshop?
4. The three SECONDARY colors of ORANGE,VIOLET, and GREEN (marked on the chart by an S) are created by mixing equal parts of the primary colors they fall in between; ie, VIOLET is the secondary color produced by mixing equal parts of RED and BLUE.

Define subtractive color model

   Explains the mixing of a limited set of dyes, inks, paint pigments or natural colorants to create a wider range of colors, each the result of partially or completely subtracting (that is, absorbing) some wavelengths of light and not others.
Define additive color model: 

      

1. The RGB color model is an additive color model in which red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors. The name of the model comes from the initials of the three additive primary colors, red, green, and blue.

Is RGB additive or subtractive?

   Subtractive : When we mix colors using paint, or through the printing process, we are using the subtractive color method. Subtractive color mixing means that one begins with white and ends with black; as one adds color, the result gets darker and tends to black.

      Additive : If we are working on a computer, the colors we see on the screen are created with light using the additive color method. Additive color mixing begins with black and ends with white; as more color is added, the result is lighter and tends to white. 
What is the CYYK color model used for?

1. The CMYK color model (process color, four color) is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself. CMYK refers to the four inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black).

2. Analogous colors are groups of three colors that are next to each other on the color wheel, with one being the dominant color, which tends to be a primary or secondary color, and one on either side of thecolor.
3. Define tint: a shade or variety of color.
4. Define shade: a color, especially with regard to how light or dark it is or as distinguished from one nearly like it.
5. Define neutral:uch as beige, ivory, taupe, black, gray, and white appear to be without color

Define monochromatic:  relating to, or having tones of one color in addition to the ground hue:

What can be said in general about warm colors? 

1. The phrase used to describe any color that is vivid or bold in nature.Warm colors are those that tend to advance in space and can be overwhelming. Examples of warm colors include red and orange . Contrast with cool colors.

2. The phrase used to describe any color that is calm or soothing in nature. Cool colors are not overpowering and tend to recede in space. Examples of cool colors include white, gray, blue and green (think calming blue waters). Contrast with warm colors.
3. Which color is associated with stability?  this color is associated with stability and steadfastness and often represents tranquility. It is cool and peaceful and can have calming influences. — the universal color of nature, green represents growth, fertility, and health.
4. Which color symbolizes royalty? 
5. Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance.

Which is the color of cleanliness? Yellow , pink , blue 

1. Which color symbolism freshness? Red , orange , yellow , green , blue , purple , white , and black 
2. Which colors are associated with joy? 
3. Light red represents joy, sexuality, passion, sensitivity, and love. Pink signifies romance, love, and friendship. It denotes feminine qualities and passiveness. Dark red is associated with vigor, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage, longing, malice, and wrath.
4. Which color symbolizes passion and danger?  RED is the color of fire and blood. It is associated with energy, war, DANGER, strength, power, determination as well, PASSION, desire and love. Red is also a very intense emotional color. Red love symbolize love  or interest as well indicate danger as high voltage signs and traffic lights.

        I love to vision my future in my dream world. Since i love to act in high school i really wanna continue in College and my Dream College is Chicago of Performing Arts . Ill graduate with an amazing recommendation to work with the best of Hollywood's amazing actors . I can't wait to
work in action movies, love stories, and even horror movies. I'd love to buy my mom and dad a lovely mansion near the beach & make them retire and jut enjoy life to it's fullest. Next i wanna
volunteer my time at cancer hospitals for children and for the hungry in South Africa and help makes home for them . Also maybe get to buy my Dream car which Mercedes Red SUV and always have a vacation in New York . But i can guarantee everything will happen the way I'd like but i have control to make it happen as much as i can .

             My Masterpiece was very much inspired by looking in magazines about our economy
 that it's not in the best condition and we all have to be united to help each other out. I really care about Polar Bears , their very delicate and really cute and we need to help them out . Poverty is not the most pretty thing to see , because it's very sad that they don't get to eat good food or any food at all . Also Unity , there should no longer be Racial Profiling , its unfair and were all equal. Also we should change electric items  into solar panels it'll help us pay cheaper bills and the economy at the
same time :)
               
           


                I created my Masterpiece by looking online and in magazines for inspirations , i looked more in depth and look for all the problem areas . Which included the economy and our world and us humans. So i got some photos off the internet and decide to combine all of them to make it collide and it turn out really good and i'm happy with my Piece ! So the tutorial that inspired me , can be found here  . Though i didn't  follow the steps by steps , i was thriving  for success and i hope i achieved  it :)
